I was just discussing Kanye’s fake genius and overrated-ness recently. Kanye has passionately told us so much that he’s the greatest thing ever that people actually carry him like that, it’s kinda ill when you think about it. Imagine Kanye having a J Cole/Kendrick type personality…he wouldn’t be a fraction of the superstar that he is now. He knows what he’s doing with all this, he talked himself into being a global iconic…I respect the hustle, 🤷🏽‍♂️

I WOULDNT SAY THAT.

YE BLEW UP WHEN HE WAS
STILL ON HIS NERD
FAKE BACK PACKER shyt.

HE WAS VERY MUCH LIKE A KENDRICK COLE TYPE
IN THOSE DAYS AND THE
MUSIC WAS TOO GOOD TO DENY.

HE ALWAYS WANTED TO
BE A COOL KID AT HEART
WHICH IS WHERE THIS FAKE
PERSONA CAME FROM
AND HE BEGAN TO
REACH OUT TO THE WAYNES
AND JEEZYS OF THE WORLD.

I hear you but you cant just tell an artist of Nas stature he sound terrible even if you're Kanye lol Nas seem humble enough to accept critiques but Kanye goes off on bipolar tangents all the time, Nas prolly said "man Ima do wtf I want" internally since the appeal of that project was NAS X KANYE so they probably had equal creative input. Just so happened Kanye was right this time his flow was very lazy and had too many long pauses. Honestly he was off on that whole project especially compared to how hes been on Hit Boys shyt where hes consistently on beat and doing double time and everything. Adam and Eve was a decent one from that album tho
If you can’t tell the artist whose record you’re producing that they’re off or something they’re doing isn’t right musically then you’re not supposed to be producing for them champ…def not a whole album. A producer should be the absolute antithesis of a Yes Man type…he has to be honest

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Same ye haters talking shyt about Nasir - bumping DAYTONA like it wasnt also fully produced by ye

face it stans

Nas is lazy
nikka Pusha was working on Daytona WAY longer. Before Ye even came up with the 7 song bullshyt. Nas was still recording to skeleton beats on his way to the fukking album release. In a car. Album didn’t even release on time cause the damn engineer had to copy and paste verses to tracks. Making music ain’t some fukking Magic power where u just hit record and the song comes out fire. There’s a process. Ye fukked that process up. Then he turned around and blamed Nas for it.

if you think he's giving even 50% of what he's truly capable of on those projects you are sniffing glue homie lol
nikka the fact that in between ALL of the shyt Nas been doing business wise and outside of music he had the time to release 6 full length albums with barely any features and u talkin bout he don’t care about rap no more is fukking retarded.

nikka Pac had a god damn full professional studio. He wasn’t rapping to fake beats in a fukking car on album release. And Ye don’t even write his fukking rhymes what the fukk are u talking about? This nikka literally will have 25 nikkas in the studio working on ONE song and u talking bout some damn “it” factor. Smh. U nikkas crazy. lol.
