NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
has kanye ever praised Pusha T in public?

Pusha is all over the recording sessions and leaks ghostwriting all of Kanye’s best verses and never gets any praise :mjlol:
Didn’t get praised but that nikka made sure he got paid. Ye couldn’t son him like he tried to do Big Sean.

The ironic thing about all this is DJ Vlad, the guy that perpetuates the "Nas picks bad beats" narrative to this day, said that "Cops Shot the Kid" was the best song on the album. :dead:

There's a remix that uses the "Children's Story" beat and cuts out Kanye's verse. The "cops shot the kid" sample is also integrated better. It took an average song and made it fire with a few changes.

Jay would do it not great but good but Jay can

Cole is in the mold of nas

Nas wanted off Def Jam and that was his way out. Like I said before Nas was being gracious and despite people piling on Ye during his bullshyt rants Nas had a real reason to shyt on Ye and he didn’t. He kept the shyt to himself just for Ye to talk hella shyt about son behind his back anyway. Nas could’ve BEEN aired Ye out.
This x100. Nas a very constructive person, he's not gonna waste time publicly trashing people at this point of life because it doesn't accomplish anything. He's gonna be Nas. Was the move to link with Kanye's exiled protégé deliberate? I think so lmao. But no one will ever be able to confirm that and instead it'll just burn slow in the back of Kanye's mind. Ether shyt.

If Kanye was able to sit down and actually do an album, while in his right mind...of course I'd want them to link up again. The Ye beats on the last Pusha album are amazing. But that ship probably sailed, relationship wise and mental health wise for Kanye.

It was deliberate but not to spite Kanye. Nas had been wanting to work with Hit Boy extensively since Life Is Good era. They did two songs together, Black Girl Lost Part 2 and No Such Thing As White Jesus with Frank Ocean that never got released because Hit lost the files. They recreated the song and it became Royalty off of Lost Tapes 2.

Nas had been looking to lock in with Hit for years, they’re mutual friend G-Code helped make the connection for them to KD1 and the rest is history

If Nas gave Def Jam the worst songs, what does he plan to do with the doper ones? Just leave them locked in the vault forever?
