Kanye ain’t take enough time to even properly produce the album. He lacks accountability how the fukk h a producer but can’t tell an artist how to rap on an album NaS supposed to magically be on beat to that fukked up asss unmixed production? Get the fukk outta here. Ye is ye and I know what this rant really is but damn Breh your lack of communication is the real reason why u not the goat producer.

Everybody said Nas was off beat the whole album when it came out, including here on the Coli

But I guess now y’all finna get mad :mjlol:

Nobody on the Coli was in the studio with Nas. Kanye West was IN THE STUDIO. If Nas was off beat, why ain't he address that with Nas and fix the issue before the world heard it? You the greatest artist living, but you can't correct an issue in the studio and still release the song even though you knew the artist was off beat?

All of us who ever copped a Kanye album or fed into the hype of him being a musical genius helped create the monster we have today. This isn't mental illness. Like I said before, this is the same old arrogant, egotistical dude from day one. Difference is the money and fame amplified it to a hundred, thousand, million. He could be mentally ill, but to pass off rants like this as mental illmlness is an insult to people who are mentally ill who don't use mental illness as an excuse for spewing garbage.

Not sure why you're ranting at me about mental illness, I'm simply talking about Nas being off beat.

I don't know the whole process of how they made the album, except that it was rushed. And if I remember right Kanye was just sending him beats, I don't know if they was actually in the same room or not.

Nas been rapping for 30 years... He's mastered different flows and pockets, its on him to know if the shyt is off or not.

No, Nas apparently wrote to one set of beats and then Ye switched the beats but kept the vocals, or at least that's the story from Nas' perspective.

That might explain why he sounded off on them shyts. But it doesn't really explain why Nas put up with it like he was some rookie just grateful that Ye was blessin him. :snoop:

Nas definitely sounded bad on Cops lol but this whole rant is toxic as hell. Why make those albums and proceed to shyt on the artists you worked with. Doesn't that say more about you?

Rhymefest, Consequence, and Big Sean to make the cypher complete. And u wanna know what all of them have in common? They all helped Ye and he’s shytted on all of them at one point or another.

Nas wanted off Def Jam and that was his way out. Like I said before Nas was being gracious and despite people piling on Ye during his bullshyt rants Nas had a real reason to shyt on Ye and he didn’t. He kept the shyt to himself just for Ye to talk hella shyt about son behind his back anyway. Nas could’ve BEEN aired Ye out.
