Nas sounded wild off beat on that “Everything” joint and another one, I don’t remember the name, I listened to that trash like 3 times then fade away shot that shyt into the trash. I didn’t know if it was Nas just not catching the beat right or Kanye/whoever fukking up the mix and all that editing type ish.

Rhymefest, Consequence, and Big Sean to make the cypher complete. And u wanna know what all of them have in common? They all helped Ye and he’s shytted on all of them at one point or another.

THATS NOT WHO HE SAID THO.

KANYE MUSIC WAS TRASH MOST OF THE TIME
HE WAS WITH PUSHA/CYHI HIS COMMENT MADE NO SENSE .

It’s been said by plenty people on the inside that they pasted Nas’ vocals. Had Nas rapping inside a car on the way to the album release n all kinda shyt.

Umm. That’s the MDBTF era. The album that everyone(hypebeasts) hails as Ye’s best album and around the time the “genius” talk got out of hand. PEAK Kanye hype.

I said it was peak Ye “hype”. Not peak Ye. Peak Ye was Late Registration to me. But the reason we can even say MDBTF is overrated is because of the hype surrounding son around that time. That was when people was saying he’s better than Jay n comparing him to Michael Jackson and all kinda wild shyt. That’s the Pusha T and Cyhi era.

I was just discussing Kanye’s fake genius and overrated-ness recently. Kanye has passionately told us so much that he’s the greatest thing ever that people actually carry him like that, it’s kinda ill when you think about it. Imagine Kanye having a J Cole/Kendrick type personality…he wouldn’t be a fraction of the superstar that he is now. He knows what he’s doing with all this, he talked himself into being a global iconic…I respect the hustle, 🤷🏽‍♂️

Nas wanted off Def Jam and that was his way out. Like I said before Nas was being gracious and despite people piling on Ye during his bullshyt rants Nas had a real reason to shyt on Ye and he didn’t. He kept the shyt to himself just for Ye to talk hella shyt about son behind his back anyway. Nas could’ve BEEN aired Ye out.
Yeah he did, but that doesn't mean he had no say in what he allowed his name to be associated with.

It's Nas. If he wasn't feelin the vibe he shoulda just said so and put out another lost tapes or some shyt. There was no rush to put this shyt out from his side. The only nikka that was in a rush was Kanye.

Matter fact I wonder why Nas still hasn't so much as said anything sideways about the nikka with how poorly he was treated during that time. Complete lack of respect.

Im gonna risk the nas stan brigades wrath but kanye smoked esco on this song, he was right the flow was all off
Thats your opinion, as a proud member of the NSB (Nas Stan Brigade) I hear you…but isn’t it a producer’s job to produce the record?? Like as a whole, not just the beat. Produce that shyt!! EP it, all that…Quincy produced them records for Michael, if Mike ain’t hit a note right or was off Quincy was on that nig ass…no pause necessary, Quincy was a damn freak. Why would Kanye, someone as musically excellent as he claims to be, release bad work? Tell Nas he sounds terrible and produce!!

No, Nas apparently wrote to one set of beats and then Ye switched the beats but kept the vocals, or at least that's the story from Nas' perspective.

That might explain why he sounded off on them shyts. But it doesn't really explain why Nas put up with it like he was some rookie just grateful that Ye was blessin him. :snoop:

Why are you in every thread that mentions Nas if you hate him so much?:dahell:
Why are u here?

I hear you but you cant just tell an artist of Nas stature he sound terrible even if you're Kanye lol Nas seem humble enough to accept critiques but Kanye goes off on bipolar tangents all the time, Nas prolly said "man Ima do wtf I want" internally since the appeal of that project was NAS X KANYE so they probably had equal creative input. Just so happened Kanye was right this time his flow was very lazy and had too many long pauses. Honestly he was off on that whole project especially compared to how hes been on Hit Boys shyt where hes consistently on beat and doing double time and everything. Adam and Eve was a decent one from that album tho
