people join the workforce every day without having gone to trade school. Kinda shocked folks are onboard with this. Sounds like funnelling kids into joining the military at a higher clip.

you're either trolling or you can't read. from the first time you mispresented my post i should have realized what time you were on. oh well. the governor clearly stated that you can't graduate without proof of post high school plans and those plans have to be one of those 3. my only argument is make the non-military options free as well. k-12 education is compulsory because it is provided free of charge to everyone. if it wasn't free they couldn't make it compulsory.

However, this bill gives "school districts" the flexibility to develop their own curriculums. I guess they are getting an early start if changes are made in the Federal Department of Education when Trump takes office.

community college should be free as a public service. anybody who wants to get educated should have the ability to do so.
