Court rules Indians exempt from traffic laws
If any individual member of an American Indian tribe wants to ignore the speed limit in Tulsa—say, by driving 100 miles-per-hour through a school…ocpathink.org
Where in the OP does it say college is a requirement to graduate highschool? I must've missed it.
If they DON'T go to college they're stuck with a highschool degree.....
He has some ideas to make this happen, like requiring students to graduate from Oklahoma high schools.
Stitt also wants students to have to be accepted into a college.
If not college, he says kids should be accepted into a CareerTech.
Otherwise, Stitt says a student would have to be going into the army.
"You have to have some kind of plan post-graduation to go get a great job."
you're either trolling or you can't read. from the first time you mispresented my post i should have realized what time you were on. oh well. the governor clearly stated that you can't graduate without proof of post high school plans and those plans have to be one of those 3. my only argument is make the non-military options free as well. k-12 education is compulsory because it is provided free of charge to everyone. if it wasn't free they couldn't make it compulsory.

I want this governor to be president of the United States. I don't even care if he's a racist. Someone mentally caring about the next generation is the only people that should be a in power.
Initially I was going on the point of these paths were required in order to graduate. I admit I was making an opinion on the TikTok vid that was inaccurate. So where do suggest highschoolers go after they graduate? What other choices do they have?
community college should be free as a public service. anybody who wants to get educated should have the ability to do so.In so many words, college 'can' be expensive, I get that. But how would it make you a permanent underclass? College graduates make $1 million more in their lifetime vs. highschool graduates. If paying for college is a problem Community College is dirt cheap and there's tons of scholarships and grants you can apply for.
Also trade school isn't expensive, about $15k and you're getting paid while on the job or you can join a Union and get it for free.
