I'm from Tulsa and that's the truth.... this history was PURPOSELY stripped away. I learned about it from word of mouth back in the 90s. It's like a hidden truth that Tulsans knew but never publicly spoke about. To this day Tulsa never been right. We do have a Greenwood Cultural Center like in the show.... it's NOTHING LIKE IT'S DEPICTED on the show... the Greenwood district them crackaz trying to gentrify it as we speak.
