Watching as I type... but it's close to the ending of the movie.
I wasn't going to write a review, but I'll speak my opinion.
First off,
at Snoop Dogg voice overs.
I'm still not impressed with the logo changes.
I would have designed some for free if they would have accepted them...
Scenes went by too fast, especially in the beginning during his childhood and teenage years. It was jumping everywhere.
Weird not seeing Puff Daddy in the film...
Did Pac really perform Hail Mary while he was alive? Becuase I have the House Of Blues CD and DVD and didn't catch that.
Daz and the making of Ambitionz Of A Ridah should have been a important part of the film, since supposedly it was the very FIRST song he recorded once he got out bailed out of jail.
It got really weird towards the end of the movie... not sure why... just felt "off" for some reason..like a disconnection.
Was very impressed with the Shock G impersonation. Suge next.
That woman had a fat ass.
God bless you whoever you are.
The guy who played Pac was Ok, not bad.
Voice and mannerisms were not quite there.
THEY really did not show how much the Media, Whites, and alot of East Coast BLACKS disrecpted and hated Pac. This should have been ONE of the most crucial parts in the movie.
There's so much I have to say, but it's late.
I'll have to give it 3.5 out of 5 for now. I may go see it a second time and my give it a different rating.
To me there's only two movies that captured Pac's energy and essence properly.
MTV's Tupac Ressurrection.
&.
Capcom's Asura's Wrath.
Someone made a thread on here about the night of Chris Brown being in the car with Rhianna. If (the old black guy, forgot his name) was right about Jones being in the car with Pac that night then this makes all sense.
Nas StillMatic/ God's Son era(01-03) was powerful.
Ice Cube solo era (90-93) was hard.
But Pac's Thug Life/ Makaveli era(94-96) was MYTHICAL.
Besides Tupac Ressurrection, Ausura's Wrath, I'll stick to interviews from Magazines, and his Albums.
His albums are the best bet.
Unless Singleton can bring justice properly.
