This show needs to be cremated. Navarro's sister is a metaphor for this series.
Should've been investigating the mining funding/connection the entire season. Could have played off the detectives interviewing wit ole girl & old cac who be droppin' spoiled eggplant off. Actually talking about the case instead of that cringe daughter plot.
Series died last episode. We found the body 15 minutes laters
I followed that Forbes writer through the premiere
Google algorithim sent me the first review, and I read the follow ups
he made some good points, and I haven't really liked it so far. But, he goes way too off the deep end with some of the histrionics.

unfortunately, writers like that, at Forbes, where they have no paywall, are often trying to go viral, and be posted on social media, so the more extreme byline or headline whatever it is, is needed. A more nuanced take would be pretty unremarkable, like some of the NY Times articles I post, are more like "Night Country's premiere episode is uneven, but a welcome return to form"
