I would say they are about the same. Season 3 had great acting but I found the mystery lacking. While Season 2 had some questionable acting/dialogue but the story was pretty solid.

They probably just didn’t have the patience for it. None of the seasons are actually “bad”, they just didn’t enjoy it. Season 1 was perfection though.

Most people see it the way you do.

S1 > S3 > S2

Season 2 is a jumbled mess whereas season 3 is more contained and coherent, but the mystery dies off in the end.

s3 was solid. i would have watched those two old dudes solve more cases before ali's character becomes totally senile. i just didnt like the anticlimactic conclusion to the crime.

Season 1 is so good that I will always give this show a chance , despite not liking 2 (very bad) or 3 (mediocre).

I’m expecting anything on the level of season 1 which is okay. I judge each season as its own separate entity. As long as I’m entertained I’m good.

If this is another underwhelming season, they may have to end this show.

After four seasons just make a whole new show
