Wasn't even excited about another Mission Impossible until I saw this

He did a movie recently called Birthday Cake where his voice was messed up. It was much worse.

I thought it was just for that movie but, after seeing him in Top Gun doing that too, I realized it must've been a real life thing

I heard his son's voice is layered over his in this, so it's probably worse here than it was the movie you saw

Really cool that they were able to build up new characters while still respecting the original. Half expected this to be about how the Top Gun program is toxic and narcissistic or some shyt. Good on them.

Saw it this morning in IMAX was impressed with the camera work for the flying scenes, was more immersive than I expected but wasn’t too noticeable either.

If you didn’t see it with Dolbyvision you missed tf out the jets shake your chest that’s how wild the sound is.

Just got back from watching this and it was amazing. Good god man we don’t deserve Tom Cruise. Those scenes were straight up breathtaking. Him going through that valley and the way he was hitting those corners had me clinching my seat. Felt like you were in the cockpit with him. Those dogfight scenes we’re insane.

When that enemy plane hit the breaks and flew past him sideways..
Even he said WTF. The story was great and it hit pretty much all the notes. I kind of got choked up when Iceman passed and when those old scenes were being shown of Goose. Man you have no idea how many times I’ve watched Top Gun growing up. That theme hit in the opening and I was locked in and back to being a kid again. Amazing film and my favorite of the year.
