instead, these trolls choose to politicize his death and made a circus just to prove some stupid ass point. They couldn’t even address the fact that that man did the right thing. Instead, it’s a zero sum game - you’re either in or you’re out.

Even worse, if the black soldier's superiors found out that, in the case that he did nothing, he could have done jail time for watching innocent people drown because he is trained to save people. He was pretty much destined to do the sacrifice, because if he didn't, his upper management would have jailed him.
