Also, this film shows you how disappointingly lackluster Idris' film career has been. I dunno if it was his agent/choices or just simply Hollywood wasn't getting it, maybe both. He could have easily been one of the biggest action leads in Hollywood right now.

He’s black

Even our biggest stars gotta take what they can get.

Therefore knowing this, his career has been fine.

Black actors that can pick and choose like Will are clearly the exception

Another thing that I loved was how the movie kept throwing you off with

Who was gonna die. They kept doing those "wide pan" shots that Hollywood traditionally does when something is about to happen to someone and they want to make sure the frame is wide enough to capture it.

They did it with Rat Catcher after she decided she wanted to be friends with King Shark. I thought he was about to pick her up and eat her anyway when they did that wide shot

I dont even wanna see this. Man suicide squad is supposed to be fukkery incarnate. If that's not what it is, then I don't wanna see it.
