I think she suspected him but wanted to be sure and was willing to put herself in danger. If she could read his face in the diner when he picked her up from the bus station I'm sure she knew from how fukked up his face was before he got in the car which is why she rented her own. . The mark on his neck confirmed it. She even went through the effort of dropping something on purpose while driving to confirm. I'm sure she has a plan.Holly lost me when she agreed to go with the possessed cop dude- (what’s his name, Jack??)
his face being beat to a pulp and bruised beyond recognition didn’t clue her in. and she is smart enough to put together all the case facts but not smart enough to see that going with him alone to a vacant barn is not questionable
Umm...Yes. I'll leave it at that.I don't want novel readers to spoil me, but based on the the show so far El Cuco seems A LOT like Pennywise, doesn't he?
I fell asleep during 4I'll rewatch tonightWhat episode did you make it up to last night?
These last few eps are moving mad slow - it's a good watch, but damn. They are throw the pacing off with the dramatics. I don't need to see the detective and his wife laying in bed starting at each for 5 minutes, they all talk slow as hell. Why do I need to see the Cuban lady cutting a pie and pouring coffee for 10 minutes, her El Chuco story could have been reduced to half that time - just get to the point. and they totally could have left out the part with Holly's "love" interest - they have zero chemistry.I fell asleep during 4I'll rewatch tonight
She is so damn dumb, it’s frustrating. Every decision that she makes is wrong off her stupidity. The worst attitude ever. Her daughter tells her about a man in the room night after night and all she does is nothing - “it’s your imagination”, nevermind that there’s a killer roaming the town and a little boy in her school was killed. Then she keeps lying or deliberately leaving out information. I hate her. “mam, we need to speak to your daughter” - terry’s wife: “she’s just having bad dreams, go to bed sweetie”
Imagine your spouse being accused of murdering a child with all the evidence pointing to his guilt AND his innocence at the same time. Then he/she dies before trial and a jury can't even decide what they believe...
...then the detective working the case comes to you and says, his gut is telling him that he didn't do it and that he's going to do whatever it takes to get to the bottom of it. Now after weeks of digging deeper and hiring this high priced PI to investigate the case, you go to a briefing meeting to get updates on what has been discovered thus far
The PI then tells you that after spending days investigating and driving all over the Midwest and East Coast evaluating clues and leads, that she believes your spouse is innocent...HOWEVER, she also strongly suspects that The Boogie Man framed him of the crimes he's accused of.
You think everybody would take that information and be like...
"Great work and progress! What's next!"
Hell nahhhhhhh, muhfukkas would be sitting there furious like
I know. I get that. The problem is that she is incredibly close minded imo. Like come on- at what point does her 7 yr old daughter telling her that there is a man lurking in her bedroom at night and making appearances, along with a child killer not translate to her that - hey, maybe there is a demonic entity and force beyond rationalization at force here. Little boy is dead, little boy’s entire family dies under mysterious/fateful circumstances, husband is dead, daughter is visited by unknown man. The delivery boy’s story about the flyer and his sketch; That’s too many circumstances and connections to be so dismissive as she is - that’s all I’m saying. Her own daughter knows more about the father and than she does as the wife. She lives inside her own head too much.

How is it unbelievable??The unbelievable part is that anyone in the room took her seriously at all.
How is it unbelievable??
The Same chain of events are taking place in multiple cities with that same circumstances - same stories and outcomes, Nothing logical to tie it all
Together .
If you say "someone is stealing people's identity and planting evidence in some unknown way", that's logical.
If you say "The BOOGIEMAN DID IT", that's...kind of crazy.
