Yeah it was all too sudden or easy for us to go from barely any clues to BAM El Coco is something that supposedly someone in earshot of a conversation can tell you about. It's takes a whole point off for me.

Cynthia Erivo is terrible in this. .Her acting is so flat. She is not doing quirky well.
Im enjoying the show tho...but I dont get her hype. Even in the El Royale film I watched the other day she was terrible too. She might be able to sing, but her acting is not up to par IMO.

I dont see it. Its a poor performance IMO. And her lil wide eyed stare is not getting it done.She's doing pretty good IMO. I take it as she has Asperger's...the quirks are in line with the perception of the syndrome. Her kissing the dude made sense bc they were on a date and they had some things in common

Hmm . . .if that's the case I gotta agree she is not pulling it off. She is coming off a bit weird but not someone on the spectrum besides the lines where she has all this memorized knowledge.

Gotcha, I mean it is a small thing not at all taking away from the show. I don't think she is terrible or anything but you are not getting the entirety of her disorders via the performance. She just seems like a very smart person with some quirks.
