Don't know how I got myself up to watch the latest episode after yesterday's tragedy.....but I did.

The opening intro graphics are sick. This shyt looks so cool on my television. :whoo:

This show deserves more praise really, quite possibly one of the best King adaptations recently.

My only criticism of this episode was the clunky way they got into the exposition about different culture's versions of "The Boogeyman".
Some random abuela overhearing Holly's discussions during a jailhouse visit and then inviting her into her home is pretty farfetched.

No clue why Terry's wife keeps dismissing her child's sightings so easily given everything that has happened so far.

Holly.....smh. :stopitslime:

I'm only on episode 2, so should I avoid this thread for potential spoilers?:lupe:
All I know is that scene in episode 1 where the daughter is crying and blankly staring, looking at the same spot but there's nothing in the room, creeped me the f out.
Very gloomy, depressing, tense opening to a series... sheeeesh.

High tension and gloominess are pretty much the vibe of this whole show.

This is a great show but who ever is directing this is like

"LOOK AT ME, I WENT TO FILM SCHOOL!!!"

The Beauty of Bokeh in Film and Photography

All the actors are great.

Scust at her kissing the white man. What the fukk was that? There better be a point to it as far as the story itself.

Hopefully it is not
Speculation but I am going to spoiler it

she likes him so she sacrifices her life to save him or some bullshyt like that

So the guy at the bar was scratched but he is not showing signs?

They fukked up.. this shyt is a perfect mix of that True Detective vibe and a Stephen King joint :myman:

I like this show a lot more than I expected to, but I'm not sure I'm a huge fan of the idea that the killer might LITERALLY be The Boogeyman.
Though the idea of eating grief reminded me a little of "It", so at least that's an interesting idea.

At least they haven't pulled out the "True Detective ultra-long one take" yet. That's in danger of becoming a cliche.

Wait- so the mother of the little boy who was found in the woods, died when she passed out in the living room after the funeral? And that was her older son who went on the rampage during the court arraignment scene? @Lootpack @Jello Biafra
Mom died after the funeral
Dad tried to hang himself
Son shot Maitland and then caught one to the dome

A cascade of misery for El Coco to feast on.
