I'm over an hour in so far, and I'm not feeling it at all. This movie is way too meta for my liking.

Also, am I bugging or is that Aunt Rachel from Family Matters as the botanist in Io

No major casualties for Bugs and her crew, everyone lived, fighting upgraded Agents and Exiles and not dying....

If there is no risk of dying in the journey of a hero, what's the point? The Matrix trilogy had very fleshed characters of Zion get got just to show what time the Machines were on....

Not here..gotta have that Hollweird ending....

Revolutions was A1 compared to this...

Well they were at a truce last time and anyone that wanted to be freed can do so based on what The Architect said....

But that all changed with their Civil War but he was ready to push the button on them if he could or at the minimum put them back in the power plant to generate more energy for The Matrix...I suppose The Analyst represents order/obedience and Smith represents chaos/unrest...That should have been the main focus...

The Analyst was a cool character, a mix of the Architect and Oracle, albeit a bit more malevolent. But they ripped most of this interesting dialogue from Westworld....

If that is the best they can come up with, they should outlaw conference rooms and spitballs

That weird slowmoish effect they kept using was weird and sci Fi channelish. The biggest issue with the movie is the action. Slow, generic, uninspired. No imagination.
All the dialogue for the movie sounds like a clapback at studio execs. I'll finish later.

Yeah...they kept breaking the 4th wall with details of the actual film being used a joke within the story.
