groff and NPH were both pretty good. didn't see the point of rebooting morpheus but yahya did good with it
the beginning/first half of the movie was what felt like reloaded to me. they had some good ideas in there -- a matrix game inside a matrix, endless loops etc, but ultimately executed poorly. didn't need all those flashbacks cause they didn't seem to go anywhere interesting
other idea I liked was some machines and humans living together, and the new city. those are storylines that could have been a lot more interesting if explored
things I didn't like:
combat/action scenes were awful. no compelling MA fights (compare this to Shang chi). just a lame Kamehameha imitation from Keanu and this weird janky camera effect they keep doing. didn't like the bots/zombies, doesnt feel like the matrix at all.
trinity being able to fly etc... again, who cares? that's the big buildup?
the side characters bugs, morpheus, etc not being that interesting
again, while I think the actors did a good job, I saw no point to bringing back morpheus and smith
anyways, some good ideas and Im one of the people who loved reloaded, but this just felt like a cheap knockoff
