It’s not as flashy or flamboyant as Goodfellas and Casino..I don’t think that was Scorsese’s vision with this one.

this is a different kind of mob flick..less glamour but still as raw.

I do wish they made this movie like 15 years ago..the cgi experiment..is exactly that. I guess he wanted to pay homage to the 3 main stars, but it woulda been more authentic if the actors were the right ages..this feels like one last goodbye to an era.

Pacino was great and so were DeNiro and Pesci.

Just finished watching now, although was long film I enjoyed it. For me Pesci killed it, loved his portrait of russ and Pacino did his thing along with de Niro.

The exchange where russ and frank talking about Hoffa has to go is amazing if not slightly emotional

found that little sub plot about Kennedy a hood insight aswell, and when Pesci says about the mob

‘If they can whack the president they can whack the president of the union’

Scorsese has mastered pacing only director ive ever seen a damn near 4 hour movie feels like 90 mins flat :wow:

Gotta watch it again to fully take it in, but this one was a quiet one compared to the other ones. The De-aging was noticeable on DeNiro cuz he was doing the most but it didnt take away from it.

Instant classic

Told y'all it was classic. They won't make movies like this anymore. It's an end of an era. Glad to see Scorsese, De Niro, Pesci, and Pacino go out on top.

I couldnt even point out a memorable scene whole thing just meshed together so well.

Gonna do some research on hoffa and sheeran.
