Told y'all it was classic. They won't make movies like this anymore. It's an end of an era. Glad to see Scorsese, De Niro, Pesci, and Pacino go out on top.
How would you rank it compared to goodfellas and casino?

Really special film and totally understand the meta carrer retrospective all reviewers were talking about even though I think Marty has a couple left in him. Films like this really makes Tarantino theory of directors having a shelf life and wanting to retire baffling to me considering hes such a film buff and believes that.

I thought it was a decent but not great movie

It is a VERY SLOW BURNER

You have to watch the movie in one sitting to really appreciate it

However, I think it is a little overrated

It's not some ground breaking gangster movie and it is kind of boring in many parts

I thought it would be way more violent and action packed

I think if they focused more on the actual hits and action and not the overly drawn out bromance between the Irishman and Hoffa, I think it would be a better movie

I will never watch it again
