This reaction to episode 4 and the episode itself show what the show is about. Boba is trying to transition from goon to boss. He almost died working for someone that didn't give a fukk about him. Then he spent time with a crew that treated him like family and he didn't want to go back.

He's trying to take over but doesn't have the knowledge and infrastructure to run things so people are testing him. He is building a loyal crew because he understands the mindset of goons and knows that giving money and respect is a better offer than most other bosses would give them. He's trying not to have his people fight unnecessary battles that would get them killed for no reason.. Unfortunately the Pikes are looking to make major moves on the territory that he claimed before he had enough muscle to go to war and win.

Nah breh. That Mando/Darksaber/Mandalore storyline could have been 4 seasons in itself . Mando didn’t need Fett in his show at all. If Fett was playing the role of a Bo Katan and try to teach him about thr Mandalorian culture and roots then they would have been onto something .

People defending Boba's episodes are using The Last Jedi arguments, "you just don't understand the story".

Everyone gets that Boba has changed, there is nothing clever or deep about that particular piece of writing on the show. How about him constantly getting his ass whipped, or the Power Ranger goonsquad or the 3 sets they were rotating for 4 episodes (desert/Palace/club..rinse repeat) or the lamest chase/action piece ever in Star Wars.

Oh I know
I know about Boba, his wife, his abandoned daughter, Jaster Mareels legacy, his leadership of a United mandalore, his secret emnity and rivalry with Han Solo, his relationship with Cad Bane, his role in the Yuzan Vong war, him training Han's Daughter to Kill Hans Demon Son...I know pretty everything about the Fett Man......but I also know much of that shyt got bushed and isn't canon anymore lol, so thats not this Boba...
But who knows...They might find a way that salvage some of that Non Canon stuff.....
