Batman hasn't even shown himself as a capable hand to hand fighter in this version. He looks like he needs all the help he can get.

They're grown up former sidekicks. It's essential to their characters. Can't just skip that part of their backstory.

Since this is a younger Batman you would have to have them show up as Robin first, and it's hard to see that working for this type of movie.


Robin is one of those characters that can work in comics/cartoons, but really doesn't in live action.

Batinson been on a roll. He went and did a gang of indie joints and showed off his true acting talents. i trusted him to be a great off that and because Reeves is a tremendous director.

Set the next movie 3 years in the future. We can skip inexperienced Robin and get to a year 2 or 3 Robin that is close to Nightwing. That would also give us a Batman that is nearly at his peak

We're not getting a Robin because it doesn't correspond with the grounded cliche approach these unoriginal film makers are going for.
Can't have any colors just muted dark filters.

We'll get two more movies in the same vein, a grounded villian and a mob boss who according to the director will be a bigger threat then the previous one and more trash fight choreography.

Court of Owls, Bane, Mr. Feeze, Scarface, and an off the whole choice like Man Bat would be awesome for the next few films. Court of Owls alone brings a whole new lore and deeper reaches to Gothams corruption.

The image of Man-Bat would scare the fukk outta viewers
