1. He loved Shiv. He was hurt when she didn't love him back.
2. He loved money even more. She introduced him to the lifestyle and he fell in love with it. He tells her this, and you this, directly.

That was for show. He knew it was insulting for him being there flirting with Shiv in the open for people like Greg to notice. If he really loved Shiv he would have confronted her instead and called off the wedding.

Both things can be true breh - Tom loved Shiv, but also wanted the power her family had, and so he chose to bury his hurt feelings and proceed with the marriage, all the while his anger over her infidelity and manipulation bubbled under the surface. It's the same reason why say, Bill and Hilary are still married despite his shenanigans. It started as love, but now it's a transaction and Hilary just buries how much she prolly wants to stab that nikka every day to keep the political power.

nikka, it is possible for him to both be hurt by the infidelity but also proceed with the marriage because he wants the power. Tom is often spineless.

You know how many people have let FLAGRANT shyt in relationships slide for reasons far smaller than a billion dollar empire? nikkas get cheated on and take their girl back every day.

Tom loves her, but Tom also loves power. So he chooses the power but is still aggy Shiv's fukkshyt the entire time. If he didn't care, he wouldn't have lashed out on her the way he did. Anger comes from hurt

You're projecting your own mentality to Tom. Tom doesn't line up with your definition of a "real man." He's a social climber but also has feelings like a human being.
