If his compensation package includes stock options, he might do very well indeed.
I'd love to see some Wall Street types breakdown how upper management usually makes out when it comes to acquisitions.
It's clear that the buyer and buyee - usually both lose. But the founder and mgmt often kaching...
I don't think any CEO in America has a package without stock options. That's from the Clinton era (I know.. lol 
) when they tried to regulate the CEO salaries. I can't see a situation where he doesn't get that. He gets to control his wealth.

Im curious to her thought process and when she decided to not go with Kendall. Like she seemed with it 20mins before the meeting(When Ken sits down in the chair). She was smiling and shyt. In the meeting with Stewey she is making sure he is with it. Then she and stewey go to convince Sandy to flip. After that....Shiv seems more hesitate.........not smiling. I wonder what Sandy said to her. There's also a theory that when she saw Rome's stitches busted, she took note of it as well.
Also Shiv didnt yell he killed the waiter where other ppl could hear. Yall just making up shyt now to fit narratives
Kendall was the only one getting loud and shown yelling where the others could hear them before the scuffle. Matter of fact, Ken may have been the only person you heard in the conference room.

this may have been to show Ken was a POS and probably did all those things Roman said as a child , also to prepare the audience for Shivs betrayal
True, I don't know why people are framing it like his life is over, he can easily pivot from this role
It was a dual thing, 1. to intimidate Roman, 2. to give Roman an out, if he looks banged up it gives the bord members a reason to see him as unworthy of being the CEO saving Roman from having to actually say the words out loud

Right, he bout to make millions. He was prepared to go to jail for Logan. Taking PR hits for Mattson will be a breeze.
All that Tres said above and to bully Rome into voting for him, make sure he continues to vote for him. Rome seemed wavering with the "why couldnt it be me" stuff. People only bringing up Shiv hesitating/flipping..........but Rome was really the first crack. Stewey was quick to say "Ken's my guy". Rome hesitated a bit before he voting with Ken.
1) He's not getting the really big payout, personally. What's 10's of millions, when wifey is at half a billion?
The only thing the Roy kids are lacking, are their own jets. Everything else is trivial.
2) He's not getting to run the ship, he's the front man.
Pivoting would mean the same 10's of millions over the next 20-30 years, but given that he's a social climber, he's always in the shadow of his wife.
He seems to be a student of the game, and he truly wants to be in the position of Logan/Matsson. To quote Brad, "Money and the Power".
But he just doesn't have the "it" factor that they did.
Could he start his own thing, like folks keep saying the other kids could do? If he started his own thing, got some traction, IPO'd, he could be a billionaire...
He has the skills to run something, but not necessarily to start and not necessarily to have the vision/tenacity to make it last.

1 - Keyword there is "wifey", this sets Tom up to have his own long paper and not depend on her status.
2 - He's the CEO of the company. to 99.9% of the ppl, he is the running the company, that includes ppl within the company.
Only like a handful of ppl will be like he is a puppet. Tom will still run shyt, Mattson will still delegate a bunch of shyt to Tom, since he knows the company and American stuff. One of the swedes told you Mattson is an idiot and doesnt actually know how to run things.
He's the CEO of a billion dollar company. Tom aint getting 10s of millions, he getting hundreds of millions when this is all over. His salary probably like 50M, not including stock options.
This is bullshyt. You’re adding in shyt that isn’t in the story to make your stance more sound. You can 100 percent agree to something and then change your mind in the moment. These people have made gut decisions all series. Shiv hasn’t been some sort of master strategist.
And trusting Kendall with billions is a ridiculous way to frame it because otherwise you’re trusting Mattson who has already proven to be bullshyt and eccentric and liable to get sued at some point. Rome was hesitant not because of Kendall but because he doubted that he wanted any part of it. He doubted himself. Shiv did what she did in the most spiteful way possible. If it wasn’t in the moment she could’ve told him. And she didn’t. There was no need to blindside him. She didn’t suddenly start going though the options. She did it to spite and humiliate him and to secure herself some sort of power going forward via her connection to Tom. With Kendall in power, she and Roman become their uncle. She would rather the nominal influence of being Tom’s wife than being a sideline player.
1) That's just it, he already has enough $$$. All of them do (Except Greg). None of this was about paper, it was about power. The only way that money really becomes power, is when he moves past the rest of the Roy Children - which being a CEO for someone else won't allow him too.
Most Fortune 500 CEOs are not on the Forbes 400.
2) 99.9% of the people don't matter. That magazine cover where Shiv is pulling Matsson's strings - for the people at that level - press, banks, lawyers, fellow ceo's and senior mgmt - they already knew that relationship. The same thing happens with Tom. Ford, Boeing, Yahoo, Microsoft - they'll bring him on to run things, right the ship - but he's not making B money, just C money.

Mattson has proven to be able to make a billion dollar company............Kendall hasnt proven shyt. Kendall has also proven to be bullshyt(He is cooking numbers), eccentric and liable to get sued at some point with a dead body hanging over his head.
1. Going with Kendal all your shyt is locked in stock, aint no cash. So you risking everything on Kendall's shoulders. That stock price gonna go down as well, since Kendall isnt a good CEO.
2. Going with Mattson........everybody is cashing out at the premium Mattson offered, 192 a share. Either all of that is a cash settlement or 50/50 cash and stock in GoJo, at that premium price.
