i think this is fairly price. Just $50 more than the switch and it runs laps around the switch.
plus you wont find a PC with similar specs at that price.

There's also talks of Sony sponsoring EVO being a potential cockblock for the steam deck at major events.

After doing some research on the APU.

I think the Steam deck is pricing is a bit inflated because of the current gaming PC landscape and how Nintendo price gouged the mobile gaming market to death.


The smart move is to wait. Honestly... There should only be two SKUs. The base SKU and the Highest NVME SKU. The base SKU should be $300-$350, but since Nintendo can fukk around with a $100 device and charge $350 for it. It makes no sense trying to undercut your profit when that that garbage is there. The middle one makes no sense other than try to create a mirage of value. The highest SKU... should be $450 at most.

Nintendo and PC market just come together to equally fukk us over.

They struggle so badly to add value that they put in things like custom keyboard and profile.

One has a carrying case... but the $650 has an Exclusive Carrying Case when all models get a case... huh. What does that even mean...

Pay $529 for 256Gb of SSD speed of memory and a exclusive Steam Community profile bundle... Just terrible value

$650... You get 512 GB and a glass screen. For that much... It better have OLED screen, 1TB of Memory, Wireless Charging, and top of the line APU. It clearly doesn't. It's based on Zen 2. What a joke.

The more I think about it... The worse it gets, unfortunately. You can probably wait for a price drop, because I doubt this thing cost more than $225 to produce and Valve gonna struggle making this sale after the initial launch period.
