Wire and Power aren't even in the same category for me. Power is like an uncensored New York Undercover.

I didn't watch The Wire but NY Undercover was the shyt. One of my favorite 1 hour dramas of all time.

I like Power and all, but The Wire is probably one of the greatest shows ever produced. Each season of the Wire poignantly covers the systemic failure of American Society and quite honestly society as a whole whereas Power focuses on a small story of Ghost, Tommy, the FBI, and other Crime Lords of New York City.

Wire's first season blows Power out of the water. Completely. It's not even close.

Ghost was separating from them before Angela. He wants more out of life, Tommy and Tasha are content.

Tommy only holds Tasha down because she can blow everything up. He's said this more than once. Tasha even kicked him out because he asked her that.
