Im about 1/3rd through it. So far so good. That Jar Jar interlude was disappointing. I was expecting more.

I assume it's because word of how Palpatine played him got out, and how he was responsible for the initiation of him becoming Emperor ect, and now he's shunned by everyone.

Jar Jar is an idiot, but not so stupid to lack the understanding of why he's shunned. Wish we got more out of him than "oh i dont know, I think I did somethign stupid once" . If he truly never understood the ramifications of his call to name Palpatine Emperor - than that's just making a shytty character even more shytty.

I have a couple Legends books I'm occupied with atm so it'll be several weeks before I begin reading the entirety of Empire's End. What are your general thoughts on it?

I didnt like it as much as Life Debt. I think mostly because the cliff hanger in Life Debt blew my mind :ohlawd:

But it was a good read, and opens up a lot of interesting questions and speculation with things regarding TFA. Overall it was a good trilogy that added a lot to the Universe.

What legends books are you reading?

Darth Plagueis (which is just :wow: :wow:), The Old Republic: Revan, and after those two The Old Republic: Deceived.

Have you read Plagueis? Even though it's not canon I'd highly recommend it.
