Also @Ezra listening to the Tarkin audiobook, I'm really quite surprised at the numerous allusions so far to events or plot points that were in the Plagueis novel. I mean Sidious even has 114D :mindblown:

I don't think it's crazy to expect a recanonization of the novel, or even a revised 'canon' release of it with slight changes.

Cad Bane and Aura Sing pop up. Also there's a flash back to when Sidius brought a young Maul to the Sith Temple on Malachor where the S02 Finale of Rebels took place and gave him a history lesson

And yeah Luceno made a bunch of call backs to Plaguies in Tarkin. His way of tipping the cap to his old books. Did the same in Catalyst.

Almost finished Tarkin now, &
:russ: :dead: at Sidious wanting to fashion a universe of his own design. Makes Plagueis's goal of immortality seem modest by comparison.

Have you read Empire's End yet? That line of thinking ties in. Impressive to have those themes running throughout canon and books published years apart by different authors.

Story Group is good.

The Story Group

The last few chapters of Empire's End yes, but I think I'm going to have to put reading the Aftermath trilogy in it's entirety on hold until towards the end of the year. Too many other Legends & Canon novels I want to get through first lol.

Episode 10-12 on deck?

Star Wars Episode 10? Disney CEO reveals plans post episode 9

The next few years are booked up as follows:

Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (15 December, 2017)

Untitled Han Solo Anthology film (25 May, 2018)

Episode XI (2019)

Untitled Anthology film (previously expected to be about Boba Fett, 2020)

But what will come after that?

"We’re starting talk about what could happen after Episode IX. About what could be another decade-and-a-half of Star Wars stories," Disney CEO Bob Iger said on Thursday during a talk in Santa Monica.
