I liked this episode...


The technobabble at the beginning of the episode had me like

Admiral dropping a F bomb, humans still curse in the 24th century

The visuals in this show are so dope to see Trek in HD with modern visuals

I saw this and thought it was so dope and funny

When did Picard and Data get so close? I mean they was really cool dont get me wrong but Picard wasnt obsessed with him like this

Yeah the show is ok but some of his personality traits are not picard like imo but I guess it has been 20 years. They are so obsessed with modernizing the show that it doesn't feel like it fits imo.

Honestly it feels like Patrick Stewart playing Picard who's playing Old man Xavier from Logan

Even down to him needing to save some girl

Some of the character attributes are the same

Hopefully he will be Picard again once he gets out in space

Androids took over the space defence system and the satilites/rockets fired on the planet directly

You've missed the point. It's not so much the accent but what she says. "De cheeky feckers" is something an Irish person would say. Not a Romulan.

Yes it happens after Discovery but around 150 years later. They couldn't be bothered to design new shuttles or even modify the look of old ones? It's just lazy.

And not a lot happened in the episode either. Some nice callbacks. Geordie,Worf, Riker, Stargazer Doctor, the Irrumodic syndrome. But it just felt so much like an episode of Discovery rather than what we got last week.

The episode revealed that the Romulans have infiltrated Starfleet and we got some fleshing out of Data's other daughter and the Romulan dude she's smashing including the fact that he is a bad guy and part of the Romulan black ops crew.
We got the synth massacre scene which is another piece in the Romulan plot.
We also got the first member of Picard's new crew.
That's a lot of shyt happening in one episode.
