first the bad

Too much ironman. I hate Spiderman in tech suits and I hate iron Man. EDIT: and flash was a foul ball. Not enough to totally fukk shyt up but he helped nothing at all and could've been better.


That's literally all the bad.

I wanted to see Spiderman doing Spiderman shyt, and this was great at that. Spiderman 2 and act 1 of ASM2 were the only ones to get it as good or better. That was great. Parker was great, and the diolague while fighting was as good as Garfield Spiderman which is tough to match. I respect turning a straight loser in vulture into a pretty good villian with a great motivation. I didn't expect the twist either. I would give it an A or higher without downey all up in the videos...dancin. thank God he said no at the end though.

The tension in the car is one of my favorite comic movie scenes ever. I could watch that 100 times. Outstanding by both of them and with the lighting.

And what was up with calling her just "May" ?

Yeah....thats a plot hole.

Tony is all about the accord and responsibility and Spidey is out here destroying shyt left and right and there's really nothing mentioned at all.

Well.... there was a small mention of it in the movie.

But as far as Tony's stance, I was taking it that since PP is a minor he wasnt trying to put him under all that scrutiny yet till he saw a little more about what he is about character wise as it was acknowledged in the end how he was impressed with PP the person, plus wasnt that part of the reason he was telling PP to stay doing "low level" shyt to stay under the radar and let the big boys do the big shyt (in addition to caring about him not getting hurt or hurting others).

With those Accords, once that path is crossed there is no going back and I think he just wanted to make sure Spidey was ready for that and worthy.

I'm sure if he stepped through "that door" a whole bunch of shyt was about to go down for him that wouldve changed his life forever

Honestly if they had left Venom out the movie would have been a lot better. When I first saw it in 07 I left the theater in disgust but I watched it again last year and felt different about it. Venom should have been the only villain in a movie.

Plus I'm in the minority in that I disliked the Garfield movies.

the garfield movies were trash. lots of coli folk spaz over them because we finally got a spidey who talked shyt while fighting. other than that (and the chemistry between pete and gwen stacy), they conveniently ignore everything wrong with both films.

Act 1 of ASM2 was the best depiction of Spiderman ever...it stumbled after but that was pure webslinging wisecracking fun that wasn't matched until this in between ironman fanservice.

Tony was perfectly used
Happy Hogan was my favorite
the high school kids were a perfect mix, it was strange to see a white girl not getting any run in this
Hannibal was hilarious
nice to see Donald Glover but he really wasn't needed for what they had him do
also nice to see Fancy get a role
On my way back home, I was thinking about the Spidey suit and started to wonder why most if not all of the earth based heroes that are on Team Tony Stark don't have their own super suit. DC had to create Batman Beyond and go 50 years into the future to give Batman a suit like Peter is wearing right now in present day. No reason why Bruce shouldn't be wearing a similar suit like this right now

He was for that Miles Morales reference

Edit: The heavy reliance on Tony Stark tech bugged me for some reason
