it was good. i wont hate. but no, it wasn't. that's disrespectful as shyt to spider-man 2, one of the best comic movies ever, which got damn-near everything about the character right except the levity when he fights.
it was not better than the spidey/ock fight on the train (or the clock tower... or the final fight). that's my opinion tho. what's not opinion is the film overall is damn-near awful.
electro?
stalking gwen?
the whole narrative of their relationship from part 1 to part 2?
pete brooding like bruce wayne for two damn movies?
the bullshyt storyline about his parents?
(pete's "parents" are named may and ben parker.. the rest of that shyt dont matter. the only time pete's parents have ever mattered was when they made his dad the creator of the symbiote in USM)
electro having musical voices in his head?
goblin 3.0 stalking pete for his blood when he has a facility capable of creating spider-man (AND power-boosting electro) at his beckon call?
angsty peter parker being out angsty'd by whiny aunt may?
rhino being played up to be a factor in the film only for scenes from the trailer to not even make the film?
rhino's armor CGI?
the movie's plot?
gwen, knowing peter is being a fukking weirdo because her father died helping spider-man, insisting on helping spider-man?
gwen, knowing her father died helping spider-man, deciding to help spider-man?
spider-man, knowing gwen's father died helping spider-man, letting gwen help spider-man?
no amount of fun in the first 15 minutes makes up for how bad this movie was. with better material, garfield would've killed this role, no doubt. the material sucked. let's not shyt on better movies because andrew garfield showed potential.
