The first one maybe but the sequel was so garbage that they decided selling to Marvel was the move.
in my head canon, all non MCU marvel movies basically came out before the MCU got cooking. i know that's not the case, and i know there were a couple solid X movies in there, but they just feel like they're older.

i agree, not gonna get into again b/c i've probably shytposted about X2 in numerous threads now.
Obviously, Logan is great and the Deadpools are fun.
One was a solid start and had the makings of something dope. Two had too many cooks in the kitchen and tried to be way too big.
Garfield is still the best cat in the role tho
So that’s only 2 meh X-men flicks in between X2 and first class then.
