THIS MOVIE WAS A SONY REVITALIZATION...

THEY CAN PART WAYS NOW
WITH THE SONY BRAND
BACK TO OG SPIDEY LEVELS
AND KEEP THE "MCU" SPIDEY.

MCU TOLD THEIR STORY
AND DOESNT NEED HIM
ANYMORE AT THIS POINT EITHER.

Both Dr. Strange and Peter's actions still have ripple effects on the other's respective worlds. This shyt is still grounded in comic book stuff, meaning at some point, in some way, this spell is going to be undone and Dr. Strange and other are going to come back in play. Not to mention the whole Matt Murdock thing but y'know.

I CAN SEE SPIDEY MAKING
CAMEOS SOME WHERE DOWN
THE LINE BUT I THINK HIS
NEXT MOVIES WONT BE IN THE MCU.

Pretty sure anything you see that makes you think that is a choice Andrew is making. Writers normally don’t write that. They leave that kinda thing to the actor to choose what they want to do. And the director either goes with it or doesn’t.
I agree that the performance plays a role but I think the writing informed that a little...some of his behavior early on is borderline stalker-ish. I think he was intended to come off as making people uncomfortable and Garfield accentuated that.

It’s been long overdue to get Ben Reilly on camera

I don’t care if it’s Holland or Garfield, bring that DNA over here

:demonic:
No. It’s. Not. :russ:

you want to throw a clone in the animated spider verse thing? Sure. Let’s do that.

KEEP CLONES OUT OF LIVE ACTION:birdman:

But…Kevin and Amy already said they will be :russ: like the day after the movie they did an interview in NYT saying they’re working on it right now. And making it public because they don’t want to put fans through the 2019 thing again.

I hear what you’re saying but right now the evidence speaks to the contrary

Always did like Flash trying to reach out to Peter after Ben died :ehh:

That was probably the most accurate portrayal of his character. A bully and a jock, but rooted in immaturity as at his core he wasn't a bad person.

Original Spider-Man, he was just a jock. MCU Spider-Man, I don't know what he is, comic relief?

Didn't say probably in consideration of the films by the way

His portrayal in the Spectacular Spider-Man was good too (a victim of Disney purchasing Marvel). From what a remember he was a jock, but deep down someone who was decent and had integrity.

The one thing I disliked about this film was Flash being an ass when he found out Peter was Spider-Man. His admiration is supposed to be more than just seeing him someone cool/famous.

I READ THAT AND IT SEEMED
MORE PR'ISH THAN ANYTHING.

LIKE I SAID I DONT THINK
THE RELATIONSHIP IS FULLY OVER
BUT I DONT THINK IT WILL
BE IN THE MCU EITHER.

I KNOW SONY AND DISNEY JUST SIGNED
A DEAL WHERE SONY MOVIES
GOING FORWARD ARE GONNA
BE ON DISNEY PLUS
INCLUDING THE OLD SPIDEYS...

SO I CAN SEE THEIR STILL BEING
SOME SORT OF RELATIONSHIP
INCLUDING CAMEOS DOWN
THE LINE.
