Still can't believe they did Paper Route Franklin like this. Bro could've went to Miami or Mexico to get the work. Every man has a breaking point, but for him it would've had to be Leon dying in his arms, his Moms getting sentenced to death, his BM moving on with another man, etc. for him to totally lose it.

I wish they had time for him to get triple crossed by Colombians, Mexicans, Cubans, etc. and truly lose eveything down to square 1 and then I could see the spiral to what he became.

I've already explained this breh

You think so? Because I would say most viewers still refused to see Franklin as a villian until the last episode.

So if they were scared to fully villianize him, they sure didnt seem like it. Had him threaten Leon, tell Cissy he wish she was dead, "choke" Veronique, had him kill that innocent man with 3 kids.

It practically took all that to have people stop making excuses for Franklin and see him as the villian. I agree we wouldnt have felt bad for him without the alchohol element. But they easily couldve chosen to NOT make him a full blown villian on the very last show. If there was some other ending they wanted

They helped 'make' and 'Un-make' EACH OTHER.

Franklin was definitely industrious on his own without Teddy.

But the truth is he had so much help along the way from his family and friends, its not even funny.

Then he treated them like they werent important and he built it all by himself. And like they only had what they had because of him:gucci:

Then he turned around and got mad at Teddy for looking at him like he didnt build shyt on his own,and wouldve been nothing without him. Franklin was the catalyst who got them all thinking about building a drug network. But he definitely couldnt have done it without his family.

I think him losing it,is more proof that his family helped him hold it all together, more than he gave credit for. Both on a bidness level, and a personal level. Anybody think he wouldve become Alton if he still had a good relationship with his mama, uncle, aunt, best friend? Even if they all lost everything, they wouldnt have let Franklin go out like he did.

That Brick By Brick speech was the begining of the end:mjcry:

Yup and without teddy Franklin would have been in prison for ever for Kevin’s murder.

Exactly, and I wasnt even including all the help Teddy gave him. Franklin really shouldve stayed more humble,he definitely didnt do it on his own.

His mindset was he was the king of everybody because he had the plug. Which I guess is a good point technically.

But his tyrannical ways and ego became unbearable. I was happy for Jerome and Louie when they went behind his back and made a deal to deal with Teddy directly:heh:

OK I just finished this. wanted to wait til all the episodes dropped before coming back in here.

1st off, every character on this show is a piece of shyt. maybe not wanda, but everyone else for sure is.

2nd, franklin's arrogance was his biggest downfall. even after taking a multitude of L's, he still owned his childhood home plus he had real estate that he REFUSED to liquidate despite not having any other way to generate income. :snoop:

just L's for everyone on this show. even boy lee could have left the hood, cuz he had some millions banked. but he wanted to stay in the projects and continue his nino brown career.

Facts, keeping $70M in banks was dumb as hell. That kinda money, I would’ve had at least half spread out in 4-5 underground bunkers in different states that nobody but me knew about.

it seems in every movie/tv show where drug lords keep their money in south american or central american banks, they always get fukked over.

Even Cissy?Jerome?

And yeah Leon coming back to sell drugs for the sake of the hood, was less realistic than anything people say about Franklins actions:mjlol:

I thought they were going to explore the idea he was addicted to the game himself. And that was the real reason he came back. But turned out he actually believed that nonsense. Glad Cissy told him to take his ass back to Africa because of how stupid that was.

yeah cissy for sure. she was all on her high horse early on only to get totally involved with franklin's criminal enterprise.

jerome as well. yes, he was loyal to his family, but he literally beat a woman to death on the street. that was disgusting.

Naw, teddy was a bit delusional as well. People are forgetting the cia was about to kill teddy. He was failing to lead the illegal war and was then began being exposed. They were ready to put someone else in his place and then take teddy out. Teddy with all that, and knowing the cia was about done with him then steals franklin money hoping to buy himself some time, but the cia cares more about being covert then the money.

But even while teddy is being tortured he still preaching his loyalty to the u.s Government and protecting the so called way we live. Teddy still couldn't see how wicked this was and how they used even him as a pawn. So although franklin was losing it, teddy was losing it too. They both were delusional.

the cia actually did replace teddy with another guy (I think in season 5), but remember teddy poisoned dude.
