Facts, keeping $70M in banks was dumb as hell. That kinda money, I would’ve had at least half spread out in 4-5 underground bunkers in different states that nobody but me knew about.

You can kind of tell the people that lived life in a bubble and had nowhere the situations of trauma. Most addictions occur from that or hereditary.

shyt is real. Addiction is real. I was a heavy drinker for over 20 years. Only stopped drinking because I got COVID and it made all alcohol taste like paint thinner. I didn't have any trauma, drinking was just heavy in the family. Any reason was a reason to have a drink. But I was a functional alcoholic. Huge difference than a regular one. I got everything done as normal, just loved to have that drank during the day and night. I had a very high tolerance, so I can count on one hand how many times I actually got drunk. But I would be hella lit though.

I knew this was how it was gonna end they foreshadowed it the whole season with him fiening for that money.

That just reminded me of my dad's friend. He was an engineer just like my dad. He would alwayss bring his kids over and we would play all day.

Man got laid off and just fell into deep depression and became an alcoholic.

Wife divorced him eventually and he was on the streets homeless.

Last my dad heard he was back at his mom dying from cancer in the liver probably from the liquor

Glad they weren't. Amin Joseph and FINE ASS Angela Lewis did a fantastic job. shyt they both even look similar to the people they were portraying in Anthony "Daff" Mosley and Jemeker Thompson.

Nah. It proved what Kevin told him. This always been the true Franklin the entire time. And we must remember, Franklin didn't meet Teddy until season TWO. Franklin was already had nikkaz get murked before that over his money.

Yeah,I dont think people are factoring in he apparantly has some mental illness as well. If everybody is saying hes NOT on crack. Theres no way alchohol did that to his teeth unless he just stopped brushing soon after he realized Peaches safe was empty 3 years ago imo. And outside of a psychotic break,I dont see Franklin just immediately giving up.
Schyzphrenics are often observed to have very poor hygiene,and dirty appearance. Its just hard to say for certain,because the things hes telling Leon about people bugging his phone,following him all are very possible based on what he was involved in.

Him having a psychotic break would explain why he wasnt able to make anything of the money he did have left. He certainly had been through enough trauma in a short period,couldnt blame em if he did lose his mind.


But they never definitively tell you hes crazy. I like how all of his rantings would sound like that of a paranoid crazy person. If we hadnt just watched the show and saw it actually happened to him. Makes you wonder about all those people who used to ramble to me on the bus who I assumed were just "crazy",and making shyt up

It's correct that Franklin wasn't crazy. But money was his addiction and his behavior and the reason why he lost it all is a classic example of a compulsive gambler. Addiction can be of anything and for Franklin it was the high of getting a huge lump sum of cash like you would from a casino. But once he crapped out, he needed to chase that money and risked it all in hopes to get that jackpot.

Why the fukk would the DEA be looking for Louie but not Franklin?

Because like Oso said, they have NOTHING on Franklin. And since season 2, Franklin's entire record been scrapped clean by the CIA. Franklin literally has no criminal record. Whereas they have actual pictures of Louie doing drug/money exchanges with Oso.

Not only that, this family was moving tens of millions of dollars worth of dope through the city and their names weren't ringing with the local pd? Lol, this the Power Book VI: Franklin Saint Patrick levels of writing.
