Paul said that dirty mfer Sol used the tree as a means to get around the EMF barrier that’s blocking his signal so he could weaponize #7 (Paul called it a hardwire). That’s why Ragnar was trying to go underground again, to find the source of the signal.

I'm happy with the finale, the end was a real wtf moment. Mother becomes more and more human each episode. I'm interested in how Father deals with this fallout. Bring on season 3.
I'm also interested to find out why sol/theentity is so threatened by humans. This is why I want a flashback episode.

Real disappointed in the whole Sue/brain fruit angle. They really played that up to not even mention it in the finale.
