Battleborn is bullshyt. I preordered it, but it was a mistake. I played it for an hour and hated it. Simplistic bullshyt shooter 
This should be much better. I don't have time to play the beta (I'm outta town), but Blizzard rarely, if ever, disappoints. I expect to play this heavily (I even bought the collector's edition
). Blizzard is damn near Valve and Naughty Dog status

Bruh it's like every game I get int. No one picks a supporter class. Then we get someone messaging like "we need a healer
", which might prompt someone to switch. Only to switch back later 
I will say that Mercy is legit HARD to use when the other team is on the same page or just 'aware' of how a Mercy changes the game. You gotta use that mobility with Mercy. Its essential (and crazy underrated.... makes her one of the most mobile characters in the game imo). Also, having that stream up too much is like painting yourself with a bullseye. Hell, early on in defense games I just follow a Pharah or Widowmaker, key the damage boost, then fly/float around them while they drop nukes on heads for the first 2 minutes to rack up assists. One time I managed to coordinate a damage boosted barrage with Pharah
Reinhardt's whole shield ended up leaning back quad kill play of the game off first ult I need to get good with Genji though. One of my friends just preys on Bastions with him now. Dude won't even shoot them - just waits til they rev up on someone else then hops in between and deflect kills them without wasting the sword lunge

Not just Mercy tho. Zenyatta can put in work. He's my go-to supporter when I decide to take on the roll. Not just that. There's orbs he throws at people that will help increase the damage for upcoming attacks. Good for you and your teammates. Crazy underrated imo. I got so many assist kills using that.I still haven't played with Zenyatta but once
zenyatta is so defenseless tho, he has to be protected like a healer to be effective. if the enemy has a tracer he can get behind you and fukk you before you can do anything

Like I said , it's fun but some complaints:
The base movement is too slow. That's one of the reasons I use Soldier so much - for sprint.
I feel like there are too many characters, or at the very least, none of their abilities are shown clearly at the selection screen.
The stats screen is messy, and needs to be cleaned up. I cant even see how many elims/deaths my teammates had in the post game. why?
I wish the gametype names were more clear.
All these motherfukkers not picking roadhouse or the nikka with a shield. come on now. we need that, especially on payload escorting

If you want to know what the character abilities are, you should use them, they tell you what the abilities are in detail when you use the d-pad.
They don't want people to fall too much in love with their K/D ratio and instead they reward you more for playing the objective, and that's why assists count as eliminations. That's also why the voting system is in place. To promote the team element. At the end of the day though as a FPS, Blizzard should've just included a team deathmatch just so some of the casuals can be filtered out a bit more. I see more people playing the objective in CoD than this
