Its wild to think Peele makes his movies purposely hard to understand, Get Out and Nope we're pretty straightforward. Us just had a complicated plot, I'll give you that, but to say he makes movies that are difficult to understand on purpose...nah. I'm trying not to be insulting but you are sounding kind of obtuse breh.

Brother there's literally a ton of YouTube channels making a killing off explaining these things to "obtuse" people like me then I guess.

I'm just...help me grasp why it is so hard for YALL to understand that not everyone is putting his stuff together right away. Like I'm legit confused. Freaking Peele does videos with YouTube where he analyzes fan theories but yall are claiming people are "obtuse"? Lol. Props to Peele for making a great career off obtuse people then.

you keep saying "on here". Look outside the Coli bubble. Twitter is filled with theories on the movie. YouTube is filled with theories on the movies. Again, this is what Peele AIMS for. He's embraced being discreet about his movies because he enjoys seeing the discussions. So to be like "how could yall NOT put two and two together" is dumb when Peele purposely makes it a challenge in his movies for people to do so. Congrats, you picked it up right away. You're talking about this movie and letting your overall bitterness about how this board discusses other movies affect your presentation/explanation of your analysis. This isn't like the freaking Minions or something where everyone easily should get every reference in the movie.

You and a few others just come off as "holier than thou" with this. Just my opinion.

And I liked the movie. And I agree in general people trash movies too easily (I also think people overhype movies too easily). I didn't pick up the reference to the chimp until I read up more on it. Guess me, and millions of others, are dumb for not putting it together right away.

again this movie was pretty straight forward. what the trailer shows is pretty much right along the lines of what the movie is about and there are no wild ass twists in this movie. the main theme of the movie has been consistently stated by all the reviewers i've seen. Its not hard to pick out that theme. People expected another Get Out and are over analyzing stuff that wasn't even left to individual interpretation because Peele clearly explained it.

And again, this is me speaking from seeing how people do the same shyt for basic Marvel movies. It's a consistent issue on these forums. Stuff that clearly explained via dialogue in the movie or clearly seen in the movie has people calling it a plot hole later because they aren't processing basic stuff. So yeah i'm tired of seeing nikkas call shyt trash or call out false plot holes or say something was vague when it was clearly explained or seen in the movie.

I like it, it started off slow, like almost a hour in waiting for things to pick up, but once it did, it got going. Definitely a different type of western. I'd give it 8/10. I'm not interested in reading Internet theories, I liked what I saw on screen. That's good enough for me.

Like to me no it wasn’t bad. But I can’t really pinpoint where it falls on the GOOD side of the ratings meter.

I will say I was entertained though

Like my focus was on the main focal point but then you see something in the background that appears to move. But then it don’t move for a bit and you think your eyes fukking with you. That’s kinda how I felt

The Impossible Shot

I'm thinking there's a scene on the cutting room floor that shows the cinematographer's camera getting spit out by Jean Jacket because its not organic. The camera's film has recorded shots of him getting killed inside the belly of Jean Jacket thus him getting "The Impossible Shot". Angel probably picks it up the camera during clean-up but I guess Jordan decided that Keke would be the one to get the money shot.

This was a fun watch, especially on an IMAX screen where the sounds and score added to the suspense. Kaluuya, Keke and the Angel dude made a good group of leads too.
