Bye Baby was never the album closer to me cause I never listened to the plain jane non deluxe version of the album.

Untitled is bitter sweet. It is an incredible album as is, but also very mellow. Meanwhile the songs of the mixtape were more aggressive and in your face.

And knowing the troubles Nas had in getting it released I know his full artistic vision wasn't completed with the retail version. Especially considering Nas doesn't usually drop mixtapes to accompany his albums, so you know he still wanted those others songs to be released.

I feel like the true album is a mixture of the album and the tape.

I know artists often have to play politics with the label but this shyt was so blatant. I still love the album, but I just wish we could have got the album Nas wanted to give us at that time.

Still one of my favorites though.
