I consider myself pretty acquainted with unreleased Nas - I have never heard this one before and it seems to have emerged fairly recently? It's rare that I get chills listening to hip hop anymore but dammit this verse is just so beautiful - it has that haunting / brooding quality that made some his work on Lost Tapes Vol. 1 and God's Son so timeless. I like it so much I've tried to get the lyrics down - help a brother out if you think I got it wrong!

Just listened to this for about 30 minutes straight and this is
verse of the year already lol 2020 was the 2nd verse of The Cure
and this might actually be better and the world will probably never hear it smh
No lyrical miracle this is just vintage Nas at his rawest. With the Adele Hello
sample in the beat.. This song is crazy!

I mean Nas doesn’t do album release cycles based on award wins lol.

King’s Disease is strong enough that he could drop at LEAST two more singles/videos and keep the promo going. EVERYBODY wants a Full Circle video and Car 85 could be a great video too. I’m not sure Nas is done with King’s Disease quite yet.



Nas has dropped THREE projects the past three years, which is unprecedented for him. The man didn’t even get to properly tour King’s Disease, which sucks because i’m sure songs like Car 85, 27 Summers, and The Definition would’ve sounded CRAZY live. If he drops the “secret” album this year i’d guess he’d stay on the summer wave he’s been on the last 5 albums.

Then on the breakfast club interview they invited him to talk about it when it's ready and they said "not in 10 years" cause it's been a long time since they had him and he basically reassured them on the fact that it's coming sooner than that.

I'm thinking this summer he will drop something. That and KD will keep that new Nas music out there until touring open us again. He might hit the road and tour then drop LT3 sometime after.

I can see Nas dropping next year. We already know there’s a secret project. And as others have said, there’s more of an incentive to drop projects when you own the masters. I’d imagine Nas is looking at that Grammy sales bump and feeling good lol.
