I am one who doesn’t particularly care to see Nas over Dre beats. They say Nas prefers to make beat organically with the producer in the studio. Dre seems like the type of producer that just makes beats and has shyt ready for the artist. I can’t see Dre and Nas in the studio making a beat together. Plus Dre is the perfectionist? I don’t think so.

Dre has vaults of beats and has given artists beat cd's, but he does create on the spot. He didn't even allow Eminem or Kendrick to bring rhyme books into the studio because he wanted the lyrics to be tailored to the music. Dre really isn't just making beats. He might have a skeleton of a beat or a drum pattern laid down and he'll bring in musicians to build on that. They'll collaborate and bounce ideas until it meets his liking.

I am not sure if they made "Hustlers" together. I remember reading about Dre giving beats to Nas and Jay in early 2006 on AHH.

That video from last year has Dre and Nas in the studio together though.

Completely forgot Swizz revealed he produced a whole Nas album back in 2016 that is unreleased:

If Echo was one from those sessions, which were for Nas, he should have kept that one.

Ethiopian music has such crazy instrumentals to sample from.... Weird that besides As We Enter and a couple madlib/Kanye beats, we don't hear more of these...
