The reason I say that is because if I'm just looking at the standard version, which has 14 tracks, I don't know if "Roses" and "Bye Baby" can both be there. One of them sounds like an acceptance that the marriage is over and Nas tried his best to make it work, it just didn't. The other one sounds more like a "fukk you" to Kelis because she turned out to be an awful person. I guess if you want to close things out on a positive note, you go with "Bye Baby" but if you just want something harsh and painful, you choose "Roses." I like "Roses" more, but they're both great songs.
For sure. The album has to end with "Where's the Love." Those bonus tracks are what put LIG over the edge for me in terms of it being a classic album. It's like cheating, but unlike a lot of albums that have bonus tracks, these feel integral to the story. LIG literally isn't the same without these songs because of how important they are.
