Like Is Good classic should’ve won the Grammy

Its a classic and a top tier Nas album. The older that I get, the more I connect with this albums themes of grown man issues, failed relationships, reflection and nostalgia.

It’s the perfect album for a nikka entering his late thirties or early forties.

I forgot about Truly Yours 3 damn. Don’t remember the Drake tracks but then again I only remember like half that album, if that lol.

In terms of LIG I thought all the bonus tracks were very strong. Black Bond doesn’t fit the album theme I guess but the rest could easily be added. Especially Trust which feels like it could have come after Accident Murderers. Roses felt like it could be the first relationship focused song on the album.

Trust is an amazing song man. It doesn't get as many plays as it should for me because it's not on spotify.

Nas in thr studio with Hit Boy and Davido. I'm not familiar with Davido. Anybody know if he is dope? Nas def got a project with Hitboy and I'm excited for it. In curious if the other project before the kanye is the other album.

One of the biggest Afrobeats artist IMO, its like him and Wizkid who I think did a lot to take the genre global

Its interesting Hit Boy got Nas linking up with both Davido and Burner Boy. Maybe something for a crossover joint. I can see it being dope because hes done well with Reggae artists (Sizzla, Damian, Spragga Benz) and I can sorta see some Afrobeat fitting that vibe to a varying degree, but I dont know if people will give it a fair shot seeing as for whatever reason people are tougher on him now when he goes out and does modern stuff (Even though hes always done that)

Again I think hes just recording for the sake of recording. Sorta like how he connected with Timbaland in 2013 and Swizz in 2016 just to store in the vault and see

I was told Benny the Butcher is releasing an album produced entirely by Hit Boy and I wouldnt be surprised if Nas collabo with Benny that Hit Boy did is on that.
