The show is comic accurate tho :heh: he does have split personalities.

I like steven & i like marc :manny:
Not entirely, I think in the comics Moon Knight himself is also a separate personality too. and not just a costume that Steven or Marc wears like they are doing in the show.

Now if they stick with this route I think it could be great for the show and character, it’s dark and more grounded, but unfortunately I think they’re gonna go the route of everything that happened up to that point actually happening and the part at the end being the fake out

I get the comparisons to Legion, but that show was too much for the average viewer to follow, so I get why they haven’t gone that deep with Mark’s mental issues, especially for Disney+, but I do appreciate that they at least didn’t completely stray from the source material. This show isn’t groundbreaking, but it’s definitely entertaining and keeps with Marvel’s theme of Gods vs Humans for this phase. I think Kang, the Eternals, Nexus beings, The Watcher, are all being by introduced to tell a bigger story.

I think the end is real but why this place was created is the question.

so you think the end is a fake out to fukk with him? That’s what I’m guessing, but I’d rather it be the other way, I’d rather them double down that everything in Egypt was all in his head and that he really is a nut in a phych ward

I think it might be what real judgment is like. Trying to calm his mind with an explanation for everything before he is judged.

But he’s going to choose chaos and Khonshu instead of it being forced on him. Thus being Moon Knight on his own and not as a bargain.

everyone keeps saying this feels like The Mummy and Indiana Jones, but it really doesn't to me b/c it just feels so damn... small. i know it's "tv" and there are some big sets, but overall the entire show just feels small. i can't really explain it. it's not necessarily cheap looking, but it's also not... not cheap. the movie they were watching that was intentionally cheap and cheesy looked like 20% worse than the actual show. i bet it took most people a while to even realize it wasn't a flashback scene or something.
