Cause nobody knows where they are going.everyone keeps saying this feels like The Mummy and Indiana Jones, but it really doesn't to me b/c it just feels so damn... small. i know it's "tv" and there are some big sets, but overall the entire show just feels small. i can't really explain it. it's not necessarily cheap looking, but it's also not... not cheap. the movie they were watching that was intentionally cheap and cheesy looked like 20% worse than the actual show. i bet it took most people a while to even realize it wasn't a flashback scene or something.
Usually in something like Indiana Jones or even National Treasure you are jumping around to locations cause of clues or information.
Most of where we are is happenstance…
How did we know to go to that European country?
Or forced… Go to Egypt chasing Arthur but not knowing where we are going.
Like why is Arthur just roaming around a tomb getting his people killed by mummies? Does he even know where he’s going? He had the scarab but it apparently just gave general directions.
