A large reason why they are underperforming and underwhelming is because they are too neutered and self contained. Feige said one of the goals he wanted to achieve with these shows was to make sure you didnt have to watch a show to keep up with the movies. But I think that's the wrong approach. If you basically telling people they can skip the shows, they will. You need a stronger hook.
The interconnectivity of the MCU and the comic adaptations is what makes the MCU attractive, they should lean into that more in these shows instead of shying away from it and being scared. Like we speculated that we saw Latveria in a previous ep, but there shouldn't be speculation, just make it Latveria. We don't need to have Doom per se, or even get a background of what Latveria is, just put it in there because that's just what Marvel does as an interconnected property. They too scary.
I maintain that I've been having a good time with this show and most of the other D+ shows but there's definitely problems with them that I won't ignore.
