nike fell off so fukking hard

i look at lebrons, kyries, kd, and pg signature shoes and they are all ugly af. did nike fire all the designers from the 90's?
Today’s basketball sneaker is made for performance and technology in mind

As fashion has slimmed down in the last 5-6 years clunky basketball sneakers have lost their reverence in fashion :francis:

For me personally from about 88- 92 was some of the best Nike lines ever. We talking the the Air Jordan's, the Flights, Air Max90, the Bo Jackson cross trainers, the Andre Agassi joints was fire, the David Robinson flights with the Air pump, Flight Light etc. Nike was killing shyt

The finals robbed us. Imagine Hakeem vs Jordan finals would be :banderas:
And Jordan had a losing record against Hakeem And Houston in the 90s. Mad max was to Jordan what Beverley was to Westbrook. Jordan said he don’t know about beating Houston in93 because he And team was worn down From the three peat and Hakeem was hungry with a young athletic squad surrounded by shooters. I definitely think that series would’ve been the most competitive for Chicago In That era. Hakeem wasn’t of Jordan’s circle aka he was foreign so he didn’t have that same admiration and inferiority complex that Charles Drexler glen rice Smith and the rest of those guy had for Jordan. He was Jordan in his own mind. He motivated and pushed himself And his teammates to win just like Jordan. Hakeem fasted through the playoffs in 94 so that should tell you how hungry and drove. He was to win

and the rockets had a losing record in the playoffs vs the teams the bulls beat in the finals

They were 0-6 in opportunities, but they can forever hang their hats on beating the bulls in the regular season. Now only if they could of beat the teams that the bulls beat for championships in the playoffs

these blip ass nikkas was missing the playoffs with a prime Hakeem & getting swept by teams the bulls beat in the finals :deadmanny: going 7 with the same Knicks that went 7 vs the bulls without Jordan. Houston wasn’t doing shyt

:mjlol:

Jordan averaged 30.6 ppg on 50% shooting for his career against Mad Max.

From 90-93 when vernon was on HOU, MJ averaged 29.2 ppg on 48% shooting.

From 95-98, when vernon was on PHI/SA/CHA, MJ averaged 31.6 ppg on 52% shooting.

Max was a hot head and that's about it. He wasnt a defensive juggernaut and definitely wasnt known for his defense like Beverly.
