I don't wanna really go back and forth about if Oden was good in college or not but Oden did play basically his entire freshman season with a cast on his right hand. Despite this he still averaged almost 16/10.
Yea I dunno what dude talking about oden was pretty damn good in college. He was a force defensively

If Embiid didn’t get hurt he had leapfrogged both Wiggins and Jabari.

Wiggins was the consensus top pick prior to the season but Embiid quickly surpassed him.
I dont think there is any scenario where Embiid gets selected over Wiggins. Wiggins freshman season was up and down, but the highs were high enough to see the potential. He was viewed as having the highest ceiling in the draft, throw in a couple great performances.. GM's just figured he's figure it out eventually.

Nope. The Wiggins hype died. Embiid before the injury was consensus top pick.

2014 NBA Draft: Joel Embiid projected to be No. 1 pick great news for Sixers

Oden was physically dominant his actual skills were raw and had already had some injuries. He had potential to be a dominant big man down the line.

Durant had a G.O.A.T. freshman season. Player of the year, very advanced polished skillset for his age.

I mean, the what ifs scenarios are wide open when you try to think what would've happened if MJ, Phil and Pippen stayed because that means Krause is out and a new GM had to get there and start making moves.

With 99 being such a short and weird season, it was kinda right there for a maniac like Jordan to thrive and lead the Bulls deep in the playoffs, Scottie probably works out and stays in shape to be his "Robin" once again too.

After 99' though, whoever the Bulls GM is has to make some big moves to net let MJ sefl destruct physically and put a team that can complement him AND get ready for the tough competition the West will have to offer.

Who coaches those Lakers though? And can that person make Shaq and Kobe co exist and beast like Phil did? :patrice:

Jordan had hurt his hand cutting a cigar in 1999 Breh. He might not have been ready in time.
