Off topic somewhat but if y'all young muthafukas remember this shyt 20 years from now...there will be this same type of documentary made about the Patriots

Docs like this work if the most important people are still alive and can speak

20 years from now Robert Kraft will be 98, Beli will be 88, and Tom will be 64

They have docs all ready

Not every one need a five part minimum doc

I was just thinking. What would have been a worse outcome for this team historically? They don't break up after 6 and they keep the band together and the dynasty dies naturally. Let's say for example the next year they lose in the 1st Rd to the Knicks, and then after that was the Lakers 3peat and they never touch the finals again.

Or was it was worse that they broke up the team after 6 and they never got the chance to go for 7, which they had a great shot at it

The lock out was coming that’s an understated part a reason for MJ coming back was the lockout in Baseball the 1999 lockout was a dangerous schedule with 50 games compacted from February to May then a full playoffs there were nights of back to back to back

Crazy thing is Jordan announced retirement a few days before the agreement to end the lockout (Phil was gone tho)

But Krause imploded the team getting rid of most the squad

If Embiid didn’t get hurt he had leapfrogged both Wiggins and Jabari.

Wiggins was the consensus top pick prior to the season but Embiid quickly surpassed him.

True. But Wiggins was the most hyped high school player since Bron (at the time). So we were gearing up to have another classic "Should you take the skilled big man over the potential once in a lifetime wing? :lupe: " debate at the top of the draft. Embiid being hurt made it easy for Minnesota and people thought Embiid was going to be another Oden type risk. People gave Hinkie a lot of shyt for that pick.

Folks were overanalyzing Joel's injury recovery for his first couple years. It wasn't until recently where people don't mention it any more. And obviously Embiid was the better pick.

I say all that to say, this draft shyt is a gamble no matter what.
