If you're a bust you're a bust it has nothing to do with whatever talent you might have. Did you watch Sellers play? He wasn't a very good player. Dawkins was the better player and in hindsight , the Bulls needed a point guard more to help Paxson than another SF/PF like Sellers who was inferior to both Pippen and Grant. I don't even know what you're arguing this time. Its pretty clear cut.

the entire interview is pretty good. but you can start at about 7:35 mins in, the producer is talking about convincing MJ to do the doc. this is the guy that also did the doc on Iverson, which essentially once JOrdan learned that clinched him allowing the project to go forward

I’m arguing that Krause made the right selection from an executive standpoint. A lot of players with talent bust or don’t fully reach their raw talent all the time. Especially when drafted into toxic situations as he was with Michael’s emasculation and the team disapproval and guys at his position being drafted back to back. In retrospect it’s easy to call him a bust but leading up to a draft I could see why an executive would make that pick. That’s my point not whether Sellers was better than Dawkins in the NBA. Krause wasn’t fully off with his judgement in his decisions.

Mike wanted his friend on the team and a guy with Carolina roots. He hated when his good friend Oakley was traded even though it was the right move. Fought against Kukoc signing who ended up being crucial. And he shytted on the front office in the 90’s for not signing his idol and Carolina product Walter Davis. That was a thing with Michael.
