I'm not saying they should stop making movies. But maybe this current continuity should be over. It's just going to be a bunch of new people making references to old movies now anyways.
Isn't that what it just was when they made the highest grossing movie ever? I think not know what the overarching story arc right now makes it seem like it's just a bunch of movies people may care less about than the original Ironman/Thor/Cap. But once it gets started again and they hint where they are eventually taking it the excitement for the universe will return.

Don't shyt on Boseman’s legacy like that and pretend as though he didn’t bring T’Challa to life.

I wrote out a rough outline some pages ago as to how I think the story should go. Chadwick Boseman is T’Challa in that outline. We see him alive at the end of Black Panther, we hear of his death over the MCU logo, and we get a flawless computer generated T’Challa (no talking, perhaps crossing his arms in the Wakandan tradition) to pass the torch to the new Black Panther when it looks like Wakanda could be destroyed.

I’m cool with that.

The next question comes down to who is new face of the Avengers since Spider-Man is likely going back to his own movie universe and Captain Marvel isn’t it no matter how much they try to make her seem important. I think they are going to try and make The Eternals happen, but it’s a pretty big gamble to take.

Antman :ld:?

See this is what i mean though.

time for a reboot. Include the x-men and fantastic four from the beginning this time, bring back the og avengers and black panther with new younger actors.
Maybe make Luke Cage a bigger part of the MCU this time

They could the ante and importance of the upcoming Dr. Strange spinoff to help introduce the multiverse and use it as a way to reboot certain actors and characters. Also gives you a chance to introduce the X-Men and FF into a mix as well.

I had to get off twitter and Reddit because they're adamant on Shuri playing the role
Black boys could actually look up to the black panther because he was a strong black male figure. It was the first pro positive image for many of them.

As I said a few days ago - they have three choices: recasting the role, getting someone else to take up the BP mantle,or canceling the series. None would be popular decisions and this shows. Damn. :francis:
Cancelling really isn't an option. They have to make a sequel just to honor Boseman in some way.

They have two opinions

recast. Big gamble, gotta get the right person , and even if he is it will take people out of the movie and sadden most fans, we may get used to it but it will take time

give shuri the role. They were probably always toying with this idea in some form , but can that actress carry a whole franchise as big as this ? Does she want to ? I can see it but it’s also a gamble where u have a captain marvel problem and everyone hates her. We will accept that easier tho in honor of Chadwick

make a new character.
Are there any younger males in the black panther story lines that could fill the role , they will most definitely bring back killmonger now

either way I wouldn’t want the job of trying to make all this work

There's kind of another way they can do it, what if they did the King of the Dead storyline from the comics, but make it where there's a threat that Shuri can't handle and she goes to the underworld, to try to find T'Challa but couldn't since he was lost in the "snap" but who does she run into, Killmonger and fill in the blanks on him coming to grips with his anger and shyt and have it to where he ends up being King of the Dead from Bast and gets the start of his redemption arc, Shuri goes through the growing pains of being BP and grows into the role, and they give Boseman his flowers with a funeral scene in the movie.

That way, you can have two branching stories form off of BP2 and that's even if they make a 2nd one now.

I don’t think Letitia Wright is a good choice as lead, considering the way they wrote Shuri.

I’d honestly have to agree with this, Shuri doesn’t even have the build to do it... this situation is much worse than the Wonder Woman one since Letitia is tiny, like tiny tiny :francis:

Now if Danai was playing Shuri we wouldn’t have a problem at all :francis:

The sequel(s) could have an ensemble cast with all the side characters mourning BP and defending Wakanda in combination with what KingsnBucs1987 said. I think that could work.
